UB Art Galleries is a university art museum at the University at Buffalo, presenting year-round exhibitions, programs, and events that support art and ideas urgent and relevant to our time and place. With a collection and archives spanning post–World War II American art, prints, drawings, and photographs, UB Art Galleries is a hub for research, teaching, and public engagement in Buffalo and the surrounding region.
UB Anderson Gallery is housed in a distinctive converted school building at 1 Martha Jackson Place in Buffalo's Hamlin Park neighborhood. The building was transformed into a state-of-the-art exhibition space by gallerist David K. Anderson, who donated it to the University at Buffalo in 2000 along with a collection of 1,200 works of art and the archives of the Martha Jackson and David Anderson Galleries. The interior reflects Anderson's passion for design, with signature arches and curved details throughout. Open Tuesday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
