"details to follow"

“details to follow” is a group exhibition presented collaboratively at Romance with Misako & Rosen, ROH, and Whistle. Among and between works by Fergus Feehily, Jookyung Lee, Wantanee Siripattananuntakul, and Emilia Wang, the exhibition emerges from the distinct sensibilities and chance overlaps of each gallery’s program, tracing a conversation from the textures and minutiae of daily life. In forms small enough to travel by suitcase, the objects and images on view emphasize the accumulation of provisional materials, near-nothings, and almost-word. At once mercurial and ambivalent, these works register minor disruptions and surprise conceptual rhymes, leaving an unlikely trail of breadcrumbs to larger patterns within the mundane, and meaning beyond the symbolic.
