More info

Collective energy refers to the combined intention that emerges when a group of people align their efforts toward a common goal or experience. As artists working in community to create community, we are a collective force carrying out PCA&M’s mission. We are not simply arts administrators, assistants, coordinators, managers—we are artists driven by our creativity and our need for spaces where our work is accepted, celebrated, and understood.

In celebration of collaboration and community, Collective Energies features the work of 11 members of PCA&M’s staff alongside the work of artists they admire, work with, and find community with. Tied together by joint efforts or common themes, these works demonstrate the importance of community in artmaking, and the power of harnessing our collective energies to create something bigger than ourselves.
